    Controler issues


    • What exactly is happening with your controller? it shuts off after the 15 mins, and when i turn it back on it wont connect to my console again, i have to completely power cycle the console to get it to connect again.
    • Does it happen during a specific activity? usually during netflix and after i shut off the console on netflix
    • What have you tried so far? try to go to dashboard and reconnect using the sync button on console and it doesn't work. tried syncing using the kinect and it pops up the kinect as being disconnected and its light turned off briefly then
      back on.
    • only solution so far has been to hold the power button on the console and then unplugging it after it completely resets.

    Stefraki, you are correct... if I was still under the limited warranty (which I might be) I could get a free replacement, but as I didn't purchase an extended warranty through Best Buy, I would have to go with the MS, and that would be more problems than
    it is worth... In respect to my original question, I dusted off my Day One Edition Xbox One controller, and sure enough, it worked fine for the most part. I then tested the alt controller, and my "newer" Xbox One controller is definitely shot. Controler issues :( Warranties
    are a good idea, but I doubt they are going to cover Excessive Sadira Usage Syndrome. Controler issues :p

    There's most likely something causing interference either in your home or one of your neighbours. It sounds like the wireless band is pretty congested in your area there.

    If you cannot find the source of the interference, I suggest you connect the controllers to the console via USB.

    It sounds like you're not hitting the sync button on the console itself.



    With your console powered on, hit the Guide button. Wait for the LEDs to start flashing. Once they're flashing, hit the sync button (near the Play & Charge cable port). The LEDs on the controller will start spinning. After you've hit that, hit the Sync button
    on the front of the consoles. On the original 360 it's its own button to the right of the MU ports. On the 360 S it's the IR window/button to the left of the front USB trap door. Once you hit the sync button on the console, the Ring of Light on the console
    should start spinning.

    Controllers do wear out. Every gamer handles it different and your movements will do that to the joystick. Certain games are harder on different buttons. Thats a battlefield controller :) mine looks just like it. Its a battle hardened controller that might
    need to be retired. It happens to the best of us.
