    My headphones work and do not silence anyone. I think the problem is that it broke the control input or is something else

    Lets try a few things. First, have you updated your controllers firmware? See Here: Update Xbox One Controller

    If that is good, then check your audio settings for Game Chat

    Go to Settings > All Settings > Display & Sound > Volume > Chat Mixer

    Make sure that Game Audio is not muted on the headset

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    First thing that comes to mind would be Using co pilot along side the adaptive controller. Co- pilot allows 2 different controllers to control player one,
