Control says command not available

Discus and support Control says command not available in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I think my kids messed up a setting on either the game or the remote.     Control says command not available


    I think my kids messed up a setting on either the game or the remote. I am not able to use the X button to select user in Minecraft and the controls are not working to type in password. It keeps swung command not available. I tried resetting to factory settings
    and it's still not working. What can I do to fix this?

    I am having the same issue. It is happening on Plants Vs. Zombies GW2, and Star Wars Battlefront. It has been happening for the last 2 weeks. I thought maybe one of my children accidentally changed a setting, but I can't find what changed. Any reply
    with information to fix this would be helpful.

    "Xbox on" feature useless?

    But wouldn't the option of having it available be of any use? If I say "Xbox on" to play games, wouldn't it be good if the controller turned on too? . and people Who purely use voice commands can have that option unchecked.
