    Control and Headset have broken - XBOX ONE


    im from brazil, ill write in english and portuguese.

    I paid 2200 (in my local currency) for my xbox which has about 8 months of use, less than a month ago my headset is buzzing, can not talk and now my control the LB button that is having problems, sometimes he gets grabbed.

    My friends on xbox had the same problems, I am very careful with my stuff, I NEVER used the support to complain about something the xbox 360 and the xbox one ever needed to connect three times. My question is simple, it is unfeasible to pay 150 + 300 headset
    control, it has 1/4 of the price of the console. The xbox one is making me doubt about the quality of their hardware making me question a possible migration to the PS4. Would like to see support for my accessories even after passing warranty or unfortunately have
    to be wearing it and I will shake my relationship with xbox ...

    It is my congratulations to the xbox 360 and my condolences to the xbox one, that's my feeling.

    eu paguei 2200 (na minha moeda local) pelo meu xbox que tem uns 8 meses de uso, a menos de um mês atras meu headset está fazendo barulho e nao consigo conversar e agora foi o controle no botão LB que está apresentando problemas, as vezes ele fica agarrado.

    Meus amigos no xbox tiveram os mesmos problemas, sou bastante cuidadoso com minhas coisas, eu NUNCA utilizei o suporte para me queixar algo do xbox 360 e sobre o xbox one já precisei ligar 3 vezes. Minha questão é simples, é inviavel pagar 150 headset + 300
    controle, isso já da 1/4 do preço do console. O xbox one está me deixando dúvidas sobre a qualidade do seu hardware fazendo me questionar uma possivel migração para o PS4. Gostaria que fosse dado suporte aos meus acessorios mesmo após ter passado a garantia
    ou infelizmente terei que ficar me desgastando e isso vai abalar o meu relacionamento com xbox...

    Fica o meu parabéns para o xbox 360 e meus pesames para o xbox one, esse é o meu sentimento.

    Hey there RJ Vinny!

    I'm truly sorry to hear about controller and headset issues, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend first trying a few basic troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following steps a try:



    • Try using a fresh set of batteries in your controller.
    • Update your Xbox One Controller.
    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then power on your console.
    • Check to see if you are experiencing buzzing with your headset and issues with your controller.

    Give the suggested steps a try and let us know how it goes. Also, please include your headset model and any troubleshooting steps that you have already tried.

    Regarding the headset I've done all upgrade procedures and reset with the support of ONE XBOX, the service is very good.

    And about the control the support itself can not do much because the problem is the LB button hardware.

    I'm really frustrated, even thinking about disclosing this in social media to see if it attracts more looks from Microsft and PS4. Is this a good discussion and I want to hear what the PS4 has to say about their hardware, because i understanding that nothing
    can be done by Microsoft.

    I am very dissatisfied with everything. =(

    Hi there Crest,

    Thanks for the reply. Please review the post by XBF Jasmine. "Since the headset is not working on one but works with the other it could be that there's an issue with the controller's 3.5mm jack for the headset."

    Hi,

    You did what we doing in the cas the controller not updating..

    Do you have a friend with an xbox one so you can try to update your controller with the headset on the other console.

    If the update fail, the headset is broken (it's happen..) and you have to contact your supplier to get a replacement.

    I know that your headset is not broken, but if you can please try using a different headset when possible

    Or if this is a wired headset and if you have more than one controller, try connecting the headset to a different controller to see if maybe that helps
