try to disconnect all PC and other consolles, then connect to xbox live and verify if you lost the connection. Repeaters in my opinion are useful... if the problem is the router "overbooking" buy 1 or 2 access point and the problem will disappear

Have you tried changing the wireless channel?

Wireless interference can cause random disconnections even if other devices work fine.

So the first thing you should try is going into your router settings and changing the wireless channel.

This will not stop other devices from connecting so will not do any harm trying.

In fact it's one of the first thing you should do if you are using wireless and having regular disconnections.

I did a quick search for you router and found these instructions on how to change the wireless channel

Xbox Live is currently down, to play your game while it being brought back online by Microsoft, you can log out of Live/disconnect your console from the network and continue to play games offline.
