    I've been trying to figure this out for several days now. We recently purchased a new modem (Motorola SURFboard SB1621) and a wireless router (Belkin N300 F9K1002V5) and nothing I do seems to work for any extended period of time.

    Yes, I went through and forwarded the necessary ports (53, 80, 88, 1863, 3074; TCP & UDP for each) to my new static IP that I set up with the PortForward software. I followed all of those directions perfectly. The problem is that my 360 works just fine for
    awhile and then it will randomly kick me offline, allow me to sign back in, but then I have very limited connectivity (i.e. can't connect to parties, have trouble accepting invites, can't download and play new missions in GTA 5). After this, I can't really
    do anything to fix it aside from trying something that another site tells me to do and then that works until this cycle starts over again.

    I'm so tired of routers not working with my 360 ever. Someone please point out what I can do to make this better. I feel like there might be something I'm missing because routers can't just be this inherently awful and difficult with a 360.

    Been trying to download Tekken 6 for 4 days

    might be a network error mate. try rebooting your router, modem and see if that solves the issue.

    Who is your ISP? I know a lot of people have had problems with Talk Talk and suffering disconnects etc. With them you have to ask for fast gamer.

    I have Cox and it's always been like this. However, each time I've used Cox internet in my lifetime, I was also using a router so that may actually be the reason I always thought Cox was horrible.

    Anyways, I turned off my router's firewall and everything went swimmingly for the rest of the night. I had no issues whatsoever and everything played like normal. Hopefully this was the cause of the problem.

    Issues with updating games over 4G

    The only way I have gotten round the issue so far is to switch the router into 3G mode and the download will start again.

    Using my B311 router web page

    192.168.8.1 from a phone or PC.

    Go into Network settings

    Mobile Network Searching

    Set the preferred network mode to 3g only and save and continue

    Back on the XBox it's possible then to resume the download.

    Sometimes it's also possible to switch the router back into 4g mode and the download will continue but not always.

    Hope this of help to people with similar routers

    When I spoke 3 they said they were aware of the issue. Not sure what's happened as I've been using it 6 months without issues.

    G'day Arkham, I'm really sorry to hear that these issues continue to happen. At this point it really seems like an issue with the router and not anything else along the network. Did Actiontec Support offer any advice or steps to try at all? Would you be
    able to try a different router on your network to see if that simplifies things?

    AW nat is strict but xbox is open HELP!

    If it's possible, bypass your router and make a direct connection with your Xbox One and your Ubee modem, and let us know if you still experience a strict behaviour in AW.

    Remember to reset your console's network settings, and run the network diagnostic test on your console, to issue new IP configuration.
