Continuous play of downloaded video?

Hello -

Brief background: I have an autisitc child. We are travelling to remote part of the U.S with NO reliable wifi or cable TV. I am trying to simulate her favourite Canadian TV station - Treehouse. She typically needs it on 24 hrs to feel comfortable.

I will be downloading video to xbox 360 (short 25 minute cartoon videos).

My question: Can I put the video in a playlist and LOOP the content so I do not have to manually press play when each video is finished?

media player continuous play

Is there anyway to turn off continuous play on the XBONE media player? Playing from external HD.

Sniper Elite 3: gone bad.

If it was possible to burn out a game disk from too much continuous play, none of games would work.

sorry to say that there is no way to loop the video unless you link them together using a video program.

what I would recommend is to burn those videos to disc so that you simply need to pop it in to the tray and let it play.

Unfortunately, my disc burner is on the fritz - but great suggestion. I wonder if you can download 12 hrs of video content onto a dvd. Off to google

I honestly have to wonder how effective the "play as you download" model will be. It kinda has to be like an online video, right? You download/buffer a certain amount, and many online video players have it built so you can watch the video continuously without
running into stutters for buffering. You definitely need that in a game, meaning it should really only let you start playing after downloading enough to allow you to continue playing, contingent upon the download speed, and this could mean quite the wait for
some gamers.

Mine seems to have issues playing UHD discs. Playback for the video will stop and audio will continue, and then the video finally will catch back up. Very irritating.
