Continually Over-Moderated

Wow, was it a full moon last night or something?

I'll say one more thing before I hit the hay...

It isn't my fault that the 360 forum that I was part of for many years morphed into this forum. And my signature, personality and I will continue to be part of this forum because I still own and use my 360 so I guess the few of you who are offended by my
presence will have to buck up and deal with me because I don't like the PSN forums and I'm not going over there.

and lastly, other than my joking comment to someone about joining the dark side with me, I have never championed or campaigned for the PS4 on this forum at any time. No one can say that I have. Now chill, seriously.

 

@Bizzaro, I don't see anything wrong with your sig. I love games and all systems equally. I couldn't care less what your sig says. I have my PSN ID in mine. There is even a moderator on these forums with their PSN ID in their sig as well.

I agree that some people here are way too sensitive. If anyone says anything bad about Xbox or mentions PS4, they get extremely offended and they can't cope.

These are public forums and anyone can come here to have a chat. It doesn't matter if you don't have an XONE.

 

Maybe as a reasonable compromise , Bizarro , you could just have your 360 and Ps4 tags in your sig.

I have seen other people do that , and nobody seems to have a problem with it .

Also , in reality , you have not " moved on " anyway .

You still own and play on 360 , and post here ...

No it's not your fault but that's not what happened. There is still a section for you to discuss everything 360 which is relevant to you it's called the

forums.xbox.com/.../2176.aspx.

This one we are in is described as " A forum for Xboxone Discussion" not ridicule or for making jokes about X1.

@brand no one here is saying it is bad to play on ps4 or to show your ps ID in your sig I think that is a god idea for those on both platforms, but that is not the issue here so let's not twist this to be something it is not.

It is also fine for people who do not own an X1 yet to come here and ask questions and discuss with people who own one and have some hands on knowledge of the console. Unfortunately this has not been bazarros intention for quite a while.

 

I haven't been banned yet so not too worried. Have to say these forums are a lot more pleasant then the ESO and World of Warcraft forums I come from. Haven't really even had to flag anyone on these forums yet.

 

I don't get why some people get annoyed if someone has something negative to say towards Xbox in their sig, but it's okay to bash the PS4 in their sig?

If someones true intentions were to come here to solely bash everything Xbox, than that's stupid and a waste of that persons time. I genuinely don't think Bizzaro was doing that. I could be wrong, but she seemed to want to move on to a One, but there wasn't
enough good games out yet or she was waiting for any kinks to be ironed out.

In my opinion, this particular part of the forum is the only properly moderated section. Other sections can have a spam thread and it will be there for hours before it's removed.

Also. one last thing and I see it all over the place here in all sections. If someone posts something that may not be appropriate or negative, I don't think we should point it out because, 9 times out of 10 an argument starts. Like if we see it, we should
report it and move on. Don't tell the person that they did it wrong or that they've been reported. Report if it's to be flagged and move on. This is just my opinion and not directed at anyone in particular.

She may have wanted to move to a one early on but none of her posts have ever really been inquisitive about the UI or the games just pithy replies to threads from people with a bone to pick or are pointing out a bug. If the games released so far with not
only vastly better visuals than 360 and better performance aren't enough to tip you over then why go PS4 then? I believe she just painted herself into a corner and couldn't stomach buying a one after all the negative she gave to it.

I still own my 360 but when I go back to play on it now the difference between it and X1 is Chalk and Cheese, and I wonder if you can afford to upgrade why wouldn't you? It's obvious.

That's the way of the world. Especially in this era of - "sell it as is, and thereby force the consumer to beta test it. We'll fix it with patches.. Umm, eventually." - The same can be said with a lot of games sold for either system.

So ya can't blame people for seeking an avenue in which to vent their frustrations. Nor can you blame the OP, or anyone for that matter for not wanting to "move to a one."

 

Painted myself into a corner? Uh no. I waited for a long time for a X1 game I was interested in but because I've become pickier over time it just wasn't happening and then one day in Target I saw a PS4 with The Last of Us Remastered and I honestly went
with the PS4 because of this game. I never cared about specs. I've mentioned many times that I play older games with awful graphics and it doesn't bother me. My vision is crummy anyway because I've procrastinated in getting new glasses/contacts.

Am I really perceived as someone that just comes here to jab at the X1? I'm pro gamer and a bit anti-Microsoft at the moment because I think they rushed things at the end so they wouldn't lose revenue for the Nov '13 shopping season but I've recognized
the improvements made. I had always intended on buying one as soon as a game pushed me to get it otherwise it would have just sat there unused.

I have no brand loyalty because all the time I've been playing Xbox games I still had a Playstation, PS2 and PS3. I just chose the Xbox forum because I like it, and have you ever gone to Xbox General Discussion??? It's just about technical help, support,
player conflicts, etc. Yawn.

 

Now hopefully we've cleared the air and we can go back to co-existing.
