Content restrictions

Okay so I've had gta V (xbox one) for awhile now and could play it without any problems but now when I choose to play it my Xbox says its above my content restrictions and I'll have to sign in every time I play. I've gone to setting to check out if everything
is the way I set it but when but it doesn't give me the option to change anything. I also tried going to the Xbox site to figure it out. If anyone else has had this problem it be appreciated if you could tell me how you got passed it.

I've had the exact same problem but for me it's that I'm 17 and not 14 as my xbox seems to suggest.

Content Restrictions

I have an Xbox one and I can not get anything over 10 years or over. I have tried everything I can to get this restriction removed. Does anybody have any suggestion on how to get this removed so I can play games?

Hey guys -

That sounds frustrating! Please follow the steps below:

Remove your Xbox Live profile from your Xbox One Console

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One until the console completely powers off

Re-add your Xbox Live profile to your console

Please let us know if that does not work so we can try to narrow down the issue even further!

I tried removing the profile and it didn't work but I did fix it by going to the Microsoft website and removing myself from my "family circle" and it gave me access to change all my stuff back to normal so there's another option for anyone else who happens
to have this problem. Thanks for your help though.

Make your account the Home account set them each up with their own accounts. And link those accounts to your home account.

Emails will be sent when they buy stuff of their accounts etc.

But in settings go look around there I think there might be settings to be able to help you out with restrictions.

Not sure have not played around much on that type of settings. Hope it helps

Are you sure it's an online safety and privacy issue? What game are you trying to play ? is it linked to your profile? keep in mind that once an age is made it's permanent. You can change it after the fact but the system won't recognize it. This is to
prevent kids from just changing there ages to bypass things.
