    Content restricted on parent account


    I recently turned on content restrictions for my son's account. Now when I am logged into my account on PC I am being notified that a game is rated above MY restrictions on MY account. I'm not able to find anything on how to fix this. Any ideas?

    Parental controlled profiles?

    I think it's possible it sets a global restriction, but when you try to access that content it asks for the parental passcode. As such, the two parental accounts would be able to access the restricted content by knowing the passcode whereas the minors' accounts
    could not.

    If your account is under 18, there will be restrictions for content within the game, parent emails and parental controls etc.

    Yeah, the password may have been changed, otherwise I can't really see how you could accidentally restrict your own account. Make a password only you could know.

    Do you son know ur password? Anyways change ur password and try again. If its not it, you might by mistake did it to every account.

    If you are 17 and have parental restrictions on your account the parental account will need to remove those restrictions in order to allow you to purchase the content.

    After you turn 18 you'll be able to promote your account to adult to remove the purchasing restrictions and no longer require a parental account.
