    Content can not be transferred between profiles


    I had this huge minecraft castle world on an profile that didn't have Xbox live, and I wanted to transfer it to my gold account so I can play with friends, and it wouldn't let me transfer it between profiles. I had deleted the profile, but not the items.
    When I go see the world save in storage, it says unknown profile. When I try to move it to my gold account, it says content can not be transfered between profiles. This has been happening or a while now.

    You can't change the birth date on your profile & content can not be transferred between accounts.

    On the xbox 360, if i get DLC on one profile, do the other profiles get it as well?

    Any profile will be able to access the DLC on the console that it was first downloaded on, or the console the licences have subsequently been transferred to.



    In addition the profile that purchased the content will be able to access the content on any console as long as they connect to Live in order to validate the licence.



    So, OP, yes your brother will be able to use the content as long as his profile is on the same console that you bought (or transferred) the content on.



    Licences can not be transferred between profiles, only consoles.

    That's correct. You can't transfer saves in any game from one profile to another. The saved game is permanently tied to that account. Sorry.

    That's correct. You can't transfer saves in any game from one profile to another. The saved game is permanently tied to that account. Sorry.

    Nothing can be transferred between profiles.

    If you did transfer the license, your new account should have access to the content. Did you redownload the content during the license transfer?
