Content and profile transfer from Slim 360 to 360E

Hi,

My Slim 360 is having some issues... it's a 4G Kinect model with added 320G hard drive. I just bought a new 360E 4G model and would like to transfer profile and all downloaded content as well as 320G hard drive from Slim 360 to 360E. I've researched and
only thing I've found is that you need to "do the content transfer"... Does this mean that I move the 320G hard drive to the 360E and log in with the gamertag I used in my old Slim 360 on the new 360E console, then do the "content transfer"??? Any help on
this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Xbox 360 system transfer HELP

So I shared an Xbox 360 console with a sibling and we each had our own profiles. So I purchased a new 360 Slim and wanted to take everything associated with my account on the initial console (profile, achievements, game saves) to the Slim.

I transferred everything on a USB but although my profile and achievements transferred onto the USB and loads on the Slim, no game saves to be found.

What can I do to harvest the game saves from the original console without causing problems to my sibling's account and content on the original system?

its not a slim 2 slim 2 slim transfer cable.Just by a regular cable and transfer content from the old 360 to the new slim .In 25 min it should work just fine it did for me

 

Hey pal, before you can transfer content you will need the transfer cable or some USB's, the second option is much slower then using the transfer cable though.

When it comes to how to actually transfer the content, it's best explained here:

You just have to remove the HDD from the slim and stick it in the E. Gamertag will pop up as long as you don't delete it from the HDD before moving it. If the tag gives you issues just delete it and re-download it. You will need to do a license transfer
on the new console after the HDD is in if you want to be able to use your games/DLC offline or on another profile.

The E is basically a slightly different version of the Slim. So the hard drive is the same for both. If you were going between an older "fat" console and the Slim/E then it wouldn't work.
