Contact Xbox enforcement due to gamer tag name change

So my gamer tag was changed I have talked to Xbox support and they all agreed that my old gt. was not offensive and did not break any rules. so why can't I change it back. I have tried contacting enforcement. I have never been reported before. I have been
with Xbox since the original.

Forced Gamertag Change

When you receive a forced gamer tag change it is due to you have violated the Terms of Use and the Code of conduct. This is an Enforcement Team action and will not be changed. I am sorry that Customer Service told you to come here but that is incorrect.
The Enforcement Team changed it due to a complaint being filed against your tag. You will not get it back as forced changes are final. You will not get a free tag change as that is no longer policy. You will need to pay $9.99 to change your tag, not multiple
Forced Name Changed can lead to a ban.

I am meant to contact the Live Enforcement team due to my last name on my gamertag and have to request a gamertag change

Unfortunately if the gamer tag was changed due to enforcement action, he will not be able to have that same exact gamer tag. I understand this can be frustrating and disheartening. He's more than welcome to make a new gamer tag though

The problem is that it was the enforcement team that changed your gamertag due to complaints that it was a violation of the code of conduct. and with it being an enforcement action (forced gamer tag change) through the enforcement team there would be a charge
to change it to a gamer tag of your choice.

You can try and appeal the gamertag change by signing into your account at enforcement.xbox.com and filing a case review

The enforcement team does not monitor these forums. they only handle things through their website.

Thanks for coming to the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, you would need to pay the fee for the gamer tag change. There is no way around this as it is all automated. Support is not able to change gamer tags either. The only ones that do are Enforcement, but they
are forced due to they don't abide by the code of conduct.
