    I purchased an Xbox One and on the second day, my kinect sensor stopped working. It wasn't recognized by my Xbox when I made sure I plugged it in. I contacted Xbox support and after some trouble shooting steps they had me ship my kinect to them. To make
    a long story short I was shipped the wrong item and the usual over the phone Xbox support escalated the issue and left me in the hands of Xbox Global escalation support. They sent me an email stating I must ship the item back to them first before they can
    get a kinect shipped back to me. I have to wait at least a week to a week and a half's time before getting one email back from the escalation support team. I shipped the item back to them and emailed them the tracking number. Ever since I have not heard from
    Xbox Global Escalation Support, so they have their item back and I am still with out a kinect. It's been over 3 months since I sent out my original kinect and I still haven't had my issue resolved. I contacted the 1-800-4myxbox about xbox global escalation
    support and I've been told that they have no way of contacting them and there is no phone number they can give me to call them. They assured me that my case was still open and that the only thing I could do was to keep emailing them.

    Is there nothing else I can do but sit and wait for a kinect I'm not sure will be sent out to me?

    Hmm, that sounds weird, as they are the top level of support.

    I would contact support again, explain the recent events and make them Escalate your case number.

    If they answer that your case is already Escalated tell them what happened with the email that gets delivery failure notice, and ask for them to contact you again.

    Well its a good thing that you were contacted by the Escalation team. (Think of them as Tier 3 support, while chat/phone is Tier 1). But as far as i've been told and experienced you can't directly contact the Escalation team, but they contact you. (Unless
    they give you means to contact them back upon initial contact with you). What did the women from the Escalation team tell you?

    According to one of the agents the offline update attempts messed up the software on the console and the only way to fix it is with a repair. Apparently preview members have more issues than non-preview members so they are able to get free repairs.

    Calle2k, her email basically consisted of an apology for the issues I am having, she then asked if she was correct in assuming my console is now working (what gave her that idea is beyond me) and gave me a one month Live code. Which is worthless, of course,
    with a console that doesn't work. It also said to feel free to reply if I have any questions or concerns but any reply I try to send is instantly met with a delivery failure notice.
