it is our right under the sale of goods act of 1979 to have a reasonable expectation to quality of goods you Im talking to you Microsoft you owe the consumer because without us sony nes ect would kill your sales i have been very faithful as have many others
and when we request something as simple as default storage location you are very obligated to oblige please stop abusing your Consumer's.. Without us you are nothing

Personally do you really like trading in your games at Gamestop?

I buy games to keep and never trade them in, but I support the consumer's right to do what they want to with their games.

On the Xbox One game saves are stored both on the console and the cloud for easy access at any location. As for game install storage you can add external drives ranging in size from 256 GB to 16 TB for plenty of storage space for your games and DLC. The
external storage can be set as the default storage if you so choose.

Billing and refund issues do require you to contact billing support via phone due to the same laws you are quoting

you must pass verification and validate who yoi are

if you do not live in an xbox live region the call option is on you not the other way around

We definitely understand your frustration, and we apologize for the experience. However, a few things to note from the

Xbox 360 S Console and Accessory Warranty:

The warranty mentions: " After You return Your Xbox 360 S or Accessory to Microsoft, Microsoft will inspect it." This does not mention that Microsoft will pay for the shipping of the Xbox 360 S or Accessory.
The warranty also states: "MICROSOFT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR XBOX 360 S OR ACCESSORY, OR TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE, IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY."
This does not refer to paying for shipping, but rather the replacement of the actual console or accessory as being the remedy for a malfunction unit.
If you purchased the console in the United States, the warranty is administered by the laws of the State of Washington, regardless of where you live.

A store return policy does not override your consumer rights. Inside of 12 months your first port of call is with the store you bought the item from if it proves to be faulty.
