Consumers BEWARE

I had BF4 and Premium on my xbox 360. My kids and wife purchased an XBOX ONE for me for Fathers Day this year. I wrestled with the thought of spending another $60 for a copy of BF4 for the xbox One. I finally did and logged in on 8/8/2014 and followed
the instructions for a ONE TIME TRANSFER of my BF4 profile over to the XBOX One. To my dismay the Premium account did not carry over. After a discussion with EA (makers of the game) they stood firm that the ability to transfer the Premium subscription from
the 360 to the XBOX One ended on 7/31/2014. They stated that if Microsoft would be the only ones to negate that. I call Microsoft. They said it was the developers decision to implement the deadline. I would like to state that the only place they could
present a deadline was the xbox.com site where you can purchase premium. Why would I have gone there???? I don't buy my games/add ons on xbox.com. Why would I do that? I have a xbox live marketplace. Battlefield website did not state a deadline. But
Microsofts answer to that is that is a 3rd party website and they cant be held accountable to that. I saw blogs where a couple consumers were able to get refunded.....I went that route...not to get refunded though...to get premium brought over to my xbox
one. now money out of their pockets...they still got my $60 when I purchased it in the first place. Now, not only did I have to buy the game, they expect me to pay another $60 for premium on the xbox one...that is over $240 to continue the BF4 gaming experience
I had enjoyed on the 360. So, Buyer Be Ware. If you have played BF4 with Premium on the xbox 360, do not expect to continue that experience on the xbox one unless you want to dish out another $120 for another copy of the game and another Premium subscription.

Haha buyer beware? No.....It is not buyer beware.....It is very illegal for them to sell a non functioning piece of software.

I seem to be in the same boat. I haven't made contacts to EA or Microsoft yet but I certainly don't have the premium content after moving to an Xbox One.

 

yeah guys...you're gonna have to purchase premium separately on both consoles...there is one cool feature about the new consoles no matter how many accounts are on the console, only one of them needs to be a gold for all the profiles to access gold features....with
three kids it's saving me some bucks man ...now I have all my personal game consoles and badass PC in my ''mancave" i.e. a spare upstairs bedroom that I claimed for my own...my wife is free to decorate our bedroom any way she likes and can watch whatever the
heck she wants except when I'm getting ready for bed and like to watch Family Guy/American Dad reruns on adult swim...I am still alpha after all ....anyway, fellas if you got a spare room do your family this favor and make yourself a mancave...your wife doesn't
have to listen to you yell at the TV in your bedroom and your kids won't stare at you with ''puppy-dog" eyes while they wait for their turn in anticipatory misery while taking up the living room TV ...plus....you're a guy....you can "decorate" anyway you like....I
got a pirate flag, a couple gun racks on the wall and a beautiful real cherry wood gun cabinet , a beat up old desk for smithing and cleaning, a futon sofa and a plethora of game consoles and PC all connected to my 46" TV.....went off on a serious tangent

My den = my man cave. Vaulted ceiling and a full wall fireplace. My Ibanez guitar and Fender amp sits on the hearth. A few firearms have been known to be on display too. Love looking at my AR now that I've tricked it out some with a bit of OD green and an
EOTech. I think I'm going to camo paint my crossbow next and display it too. lol My wife generally watches TV in the living room if I'm gaming. I do wish I had a separate, designated room with a closing door sometimes however.

 

Thanks for posting. You just killed my decision to buy an Xbox one. Was about to take up the offer to get xbox one for basically $250 after the $100 for my old 360 and $50 rebate but heck with that now as I'd be *** with BF4. I'll just stay on 360 then
until March when the new BF comes out. Stupid of Msoft to let this happen to them.
