    Consumer Complaint


    Before blasting my complaint out on social media, how would I go about to respectfully submit a complaint regarding your poor customer service? I would of loved to be a fan and advocate of Microsoft, but at this point I really feel that the X Box division
    has stolen hard earned money from my 10 year old. Seems like going through technical support is a dead end and I cannot get straight reliable answers; trust has been broken.

    I respectfully ask an opportunity to express my dissatisfaction with a person who will listen and at least take my feedback back to senior leadership and retrain the support techs on staff to provide reliable and consistent information.

    Unfortunately my 10 year old will be without an X box console and just recently spent $150 of his own hard earned money to buy accessories and X-box cards to only find out that he wasted his money and cannot return the merchandise.

    My initial support reference # is 1438134773. This was created to address the issue with his console not working, but has spiraled downhill from there; including my calling numerous times, being asking to go to an actual Microsoft store (which I did) and
    then to be told that it was all for nothing because a 6 month grace period to our warranty never in fact existed (although that what was communicated to me); the last straw was techs hanging up on me (and this was before they even knew about the situation);
    very hard to get through to a live tech who actually wants to talk to you.

    Just wondering what ever happened to good old customer service?? Where one can call and get consistent liable information. I understand that the answers provided may not be in the customers favor, but transparency and genuine conversation goes a long way.

    This seems to be a problem with the console its self. I would advise going to:

    support.xbox.com/.../repair

    .

    The link above should help you send your Xbox 360 for repair. Please also note that you may have to pay for the repair. If your 360 is out of warrenty

    Hello sorry to hear about your troubles. I would suggest calling again. Try to keep in mind those centers can get busy every time of year but in particular around the holidays. Or you could contact Xbox support via twitter to see if someone there can better
    help you @XboxSupport1 Also Maybe you ought to check www.myservice.xbox.com register the console to see if it is under warranty and just send it in for a repair.

    There is a year warranty like.every single.device in the world

    If you mean 6months after the 1 year there is no such thing no company does.that

    Maybe a day or two but never 6momths you do realize thats what extended warranties are for and there is no exceptions except.for xbox insiders.program which requires it to be a beta problem

    There is no one you can call

    Not even Sony will.allow 6months grace after the fact

    This is what extended warranties are for

    No amount of calls will help you as it's something YOU have to cover yourself

    I personally bought the ms one plan.which covers my device for 3 years for 60 bucks

    Which you should've done

    Whichever console you go to next you better get a extra warranty because no one will cover you beyond the warranty period without an extended plan

    This is with every electronic you can buy
