Constantly having to clear alternate MAC address

Greetings,

Have been experiencing issues for the past week where, when I start any game, the data sync at start up returns the 0x80832003 error that the network is unavailable. This is not the case. What I've discovered is that I have to clear the alternate MAC address in network settings, allow the restart, and then the game will sync up... but I have to do this every time I start up my console.

Is there a work around or fix that I am missing? Any suggestions? FWIW, factory resets have not rectified the situation.

In addition to cleaning the MAC console, did you also restart your internet devices for a few minutes to refresh the connection?

If the problem persists, your connection ports maybe being limited or blocked by your ISP. I recommend calling your ISP and asking to open these ports.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to put the IP of the console in the DMZ zone, if you need additional ports this function will take care of that.

Clearing your Alternate MAC address. Hit the Menu button, Settings, Network, Advanced, Alternate MAC address, Clear, Restart. It will take a few mins for the console to reboot.
