Constantly have to install games.

I don't know if this is a know issue, but just about every time I put a game disc in my Xbox one, it has to install it. I already wiped everything and RE-installed everything and it is still doing it. Any help appreciated.

Paulo, what does "every single game" entail? Unless you literally mean you own every game available on XB1?

I have a few games and none of them update more than once a week that I can recall. Are all of your games on discs or are any of them digital? Is your console set to always online?

I already did a factory reset. It didn't fix it. I just contacted Microsoft and they want me to try an external USB drive to save to game updates to, but I don't have one to try it.

 

It's definitely not right, you should only have to install it once, I would try the support forum like Burnin TODI suggested.

Thanks guys. I'll check it out. It sucks because I already had to send it back 3 months after I bought it because it wasn't reading the discs.

Are you sure it isn't installing updates on your games? I will simply say "installing" regardless of if it's installing the disc or an update.

Yes, it is updating the games over and over.

 

It's a bug. The only "fix" right now is to do a factory reset of the console. A fix is coming in an update.

Have tried installing them and playing offline by removing the lan cable or disconnecting the wi fi, then put the console online and see what happens.
