Constantly going to the left

Here over the last few days whether my controller is connected or not, it's as if I'm holding the left button down. On the home screen it just goes all the way over to the left to the apps, and while watching Netflix it rewinded the movie.

Anyone ever dealt with this or have even a remote clue as to the culprit for this problem?

bought a manager,never got him,coins not refunded..Ultimate team

bidded on a manager in ultimate team,won the bidding war,went to recieve manager,manager was flashing constantly going from my won amount to zero,eventually the card expired and i was left coinless and without the manager card...so basically lost my coins,

I have been playing the xbox for several days in a row, not a single server issue, what game/s are you trying to play and are there any error codes.

 

Hmm. Not sure on the X1, but on the 360 if your thumbsticks ghosts to the left, right, up, or down. Then the system remembers the last input from the controller. Even if you turn the controller off.

Try another controller and see if it still does it. Be sure not to turn on your old controller, and to power on the system with your 2nd controller.

The stick is probably worn out / jammed because of constant use in FPS games.

The contollers are low quality , i had to get a replacement on my first because the clip-on back panels were so lose, HOW ABOUT USING SOME SCREWS MS

A few weeks after getting my replacement controller the analong stick will move up without even touching it, still doing it , even on PC

Im back to using my original with lose back panels...

Get a replacement and make sure its NEW because im sure i just recevied some one else repaired controller that didnt even last 2 weeks with out crapping out

Well the thing is even when my controller isn't connected it still goes to the left...

Since i've unplugged my kinect and it hasn't happened since... Kinect the problem or just coincidence?

 

If you kept the same controller, and unplugged the Kinect and it stoped. Then yes. The Kinect was the likely problem.

I would call support and get a replacment, then try it again. Because if it was the Kinect, then their is no sense keeping it.
