Constantly getting disconnected from Xbox live, please help!

For the past few weeks ive been getting constantly disconnected from Xbox live and cant even play a full game of battlefield without getting disconnected. it use to mostly happen when playing with someone on my friends list but now it doesn't matter. it
happens whenever and it's usually happens in less than 5 minutes

it is not my modem or ISP because None of my other devices are affected by it only my Xbox and its starting to get annoying when i pay a lot of money for Xbox live gold and i cant even play. it did this a few months ago so i moved my Xbox somewhere else
in my room and it mostly fixed it. we did recently have a power outage for about 22 hrs.

I've tried everything that other forums and sites say. I've unplugged my modem for 5 minutes, I've cleared my system cache, I've re-downloaded my profile i even got a WiFi extender in case my WiFi wasn't reaching the Xbox, I've reset my network configuration
to factory default, unfortunately i'm unable to connect my Xbox to my modem as i don't exactly control where i put it and i don't have an Ethernet plug in my room

I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my Xbox, Please help it's getting really frustrating.

xbox live probs

I keep on getting disconnected from xbox live.

After about half an hour on xbox live it sais disconnected from xbox live.

please help!!!

Xbox Connects to Network But Not the Internet

Same issue here.. When my xbox does connect to xbl i am constantly getting disconnected from live.

Apprecite if you can post up the make and model of your wireless router along with the make and model of your modem (if this is not a single device).

Can you also post up the make and model of your wireless extender.

If it's possible, I would strongly recommend that you at least try connect your Xbox with a wired solution. This will simply tell us if your problem can be replicated through a wired solution, or if it can keep a stable connection to Live througout this
process.

Same issue here.. When my xbox does connect to xbl i am constantly getting disconnected from live.

It is now the 27th in China and I am still having terrible issues with xbox live. I am constantly getting kicked from games and disconnected from live. As soon as I press 'A' to load a disc it disconnects from Live. I can sign back in sometimes but get kicked.

It's so frustrating!!!!!

I've been having a similar issue.... constant lag... ill lag all over the map... and it will eventually have me sitting at the "starting game" screen.... ive tried port forwarding, bought an xbox slim, checked connectivity on my laptop... only thing i cannot
do is ethernet cable from router to xbox as there is no tv near the router and i have a 39" tv so its not that easy to just move.... as for the modem and router i connected my laptop to both via ethernet cord and it worked fine.... any suggestions? im currently
using a 4g internal memory drive, ive ordered a 120gig thinking that might help?

Hi!

So, doesn't seem like a NAT issue because:

1. Xbox live connection tests was completely fine. No errors or warnings.

2. I checked to make sure that I didn't have a double-NAT issue.

Btw, UPnP is switched on and well.

I am in the US, so country is definitely in the supported zone.

Synperx5, I'm not using a headset, and I don't think there is any other funky wireless device interfering. Besides, the timing is really bizarre, it never disconnects while in the middle of a game - just while on the dashboard or while starting apps (and
no, not because of Xbox Live updates).
