Constantly getting disconnected from XBL.

Hi, I have been having connectivity issues the past two days.I have a wireless connection. I can initially connect to XBL be on for anywhere between 2-25 min then I'll get disconnected. I go to check my network. I run the XBL test. It says i connect to the
router, then the internet, and finally XBL with no problem. Then i go back to sign in and then sometimes when i sign in it will disconnect me from XBL again. However sometimes it doesn't. Then i can be on for another 2-25 min then i get disconnected again.
Now normally i would say my internet is down. However my desktop which is directly connected to the router has had no issues, minus a limited access message sometimes; as well as my laptop which is wireless having some connectivity issues. I have been on XBL
for over a year with this being the first instance of this particular issue. I don't know if this is a problem with my Xbox, XBL itself, or my router/ISP. If anyone has had this problem is there a way to fix this, thank you.

when I'm looking on a logically way here it can be the router. Wherever its beging to show flaws in the transmission, or there are multiple routers around you with the same channel number, can you exclude that?

Do you have separate devices? modem/router or do you have router from you ISP only?

 

i have a router from my ISP only.

 

If it's possible, can you have your console wired directly into the router and verify if this works better.

 

The same thing is happening to me, I can't play GTAV online or use you tube.

 

i am having same problems, it is not my internet connection because everything else works fine and the signal is strong!! i have done loads of things thats been suggested on here and still no look it is really getting me down now, i pay for skygo and cant
watch it same with neflix!!

 

Yeah I had this for 3 weeks, would cut out every 6 minutes and 40 seconds on the dot, the only way I fixed it was to turn DMZ off on the router, but now I can't connect to any game or any party!

 

i have narrowed it down a bit, my daughter is playing minecraft with friends and its working fine with no connection problems but if i try streaming sky or netflix that's where the problem arises...

So with multiple people having this problem this looks like a MS XBL issue and nothing with my side of things.

 

@SSHGaming - Many users are experiencing connectivity problems to Xbox Live for numerous of reasons, but every issue needs to be handled individually.

Appreciate if you can provide some more information, so we can better understand your situation.

Same problem here. Xbox Live disconnecting every few minutes while playing a game. Have to shut of Xbox and turn it back on. No problem connecting again. Signal strong. Cleared cache, deleted profile, deleted the game, switched router, switched to a
wired connection. No improvement whatsoever. Phone, internet, everything working fine. Just Xbox Live.
