    Constantly disconnecting from Xbox Live


    My brothers account disconnects from the internet every hour or so. Every time it happens he gets kicked out of his game and we have to restart the console. It happens on my xbox AND on his xbox and it only happens on his profile. Its been like this for
    about a month. I have no idea what could cause something like that to happen so any information would be helpful. Thanks

    Constantly disconnecting from Xbox Live

    There are many reasons why one would get randomly disconnected from Xbox Live: wifi signal interference, your router is getting choked for bandwidth, your router is not properly configured for Xbox Live, network firewall is blocking Xbox Live, NAT issues,
    and so on.

    Appreciate the response but this only happens on the 1 account. So I doubt its any interference or anything. Not to mention it happens on 2 different xboxs. My brother lives on the other side of the country and his xbox does the same thing so its specific
    to his account somehow. I have 100 mbps Down and 15 up. Everything else works fine except that account. Thanks again for the help though.

    Live has been diaconnected for 2 days in china.All of chinese !!!

    It is now the 27th in China and I am still having terrible issues with xbox live. I am constantly getting kicked from games and disconnected from live. As soon as I press 'A' to load a disc it disconnects from Live. I can sign back in sometimes but get kicked.

    It's so frustrating!!!!!

    Depending on your router, some users have experience issues running UPnP despite most guides suggesting to enable it for xbox live setup. In the past I had the same issue with disconnects. The problem went away once UPnP was disabled. I'm not saying
    it is a fix, but worth a try.

    Hey. Am not an ambassador or owt, just a keen gamer, but also a self employed techy. That error code I believe is a corrupt profile, try deleting all the profiles n either start again or recover it after its been deleted. See how that goes n perhaps let
    me know?

    I too would like an explanation for this irritating phenomenon. I've experienced the same issue with the same error code since roughly the beginning of the month. Like the OP, I have also gone through the requisite troubleshooting and procedures purported
    to fix this issue to no avail. If something is hosing up XBox Live connectivity for all of us we'd like some answers please. I don't like getting bad reviews for "Quitting Early" when I can't keep a Live session running on a Fiber connection...
