Constant network connectivity issues

For the last couple of weeks my Xbox One S has had an issue maintaining connectivity with my network. I have cleared the cache on the console, restarted the router numerous times and relocated the console to an open area where there is no interference and nothing
seems to offer a permanent fix to this. I have a cellphone, tablet, laptop and an additional console that all function with no issues in the same vicinity as the Xbox so I know that it is not a network error. None of these devices have had a single issue with
being able to connect. At times the console will not automatically sign me in to Xbox Live and I will either have to manually sign in or restart the console. While playing games I run into issues where I get kicked from my account and lose progress. While
watching videos online I get kicked from my account and also notice dips in the quality when the system seems to struggle. This is all very frustrating and I cannot get this resolved! Is this an issue with the unit?!? Please help!

Sorry to hear you are running into connectivity issues, If this is a constant issue and it's causing issues with your Gaming experience maybe Port Forwarding is something you can take a look into. Go ahead and follow this link to the "Network
ports used by Xbox Live on Xbox One." If you're having a hard time getting the ports set up you can always reach out to your Internet Service Provider for assistance with setting them up.

No wireless connectivity

we recently purchased a one s and had no issues with connectivity the first week. However, it is not recognizing the network and will not allow online play. How can we fix this, as we purchased a year xbox live and cannot access it due to connectivity
issues.

 

It could be that your profile may have become corrupted.

Try remove your account from the console and redownload your account from Live.

Thank you for the assistance. I tried that yesterday and it was working fine at the time but I am experiencing the same problems again today.

 

Just to clarify, did you remove the account from your console?

Do you have the option to connect your console with an Ethernet cable?

 

I did remove the account fully and then added the account back. Again, it did seem to take care of the issue at the time but it has arisen again today. I do not have the ability to hardwire the console in the room that it is in. If I needed to do so to
trouble shoot I could temporarily.

 

I would recommend a wired solution (temporarily), to narrow things down even further.

Step 1: Connect your console with wire to your wireless router.

Step 2: If your router terminates to a modem, and step 1 were to no avail, then bypass your router and make a direct connnection to your modem.

What is the make and model of your wireless router, along with the make and model of your modem.
