Constant issues with lag/freezing/app took too long to start. Day one xbox. Alpha insider.

For at least THREE MONTHS now I've had constant issues with my day one xbox one. I'm sure some of these issues are related to the GPP but at this point they're so abundant I don't even know anymore.

This whole week has been terrible. My xbox constantly locks up, lags, freezes for a moment or simply does not work. I'm constantly getting error 0x8027025a - for some reason 'x' app or game took too long to start. If I try to go Home I'll get a grey screen
that either take ten plus minu to sort itself out or flat out doesn't not resolve itself. I'll go to quit an app and load another and it will take too long to start causing the rest of my apps to do the same. At this time I'll open the guide menu but I'll
be confronted with half a guide, only some options are visible. Some icons will not load properly like my game pic of friends gamer pics.

I just had an issue tonight after purchasing 7 days to die where the whole map started disappearing, lagging and upon attempting to quit the load screen lagged/loaded for five straight minutes. After that everything seemed normal until now. At first I thought
it was the game until my entire system started lagging and loading improperly. Once it resolved itself, I loaded the game back up and the map was fine, however upon quitting YouTube to load Netflix, my entire system is lagging and is not functional. Now I'm
getting the error I listed above. The only way I've managed to sort it out in the past is to factory restore my xbox. I've done this more than ten times now and I'm tired of it. It only solves the issues for a few hours or days.

As I'm typing this I received the above error. My screen I'm the background is a blank, grey screen. I can't even click anything because either the system is locked up or my controller isn't registering button presses or both. I cannot even report a problem
when this happens because the console is literally not functional. Usually if I try a power cycle when this happens, my console won't boot passed the green screen. This isn't entirely a new problem either. This has been happening for nearly three months. I'm
having multiple, similar issues. Sometimes the guide is functional while the rest isn't, sometimes it is not and lags horribly. I can navigate my guide right now, but nothing works when I click it or I'll get the above error.

I've been an Xbox user for over ten years and I've never had this many issues. I purchased four Xbox 360s due to red ring failure but at least when the console was running IT WORKED. The abundance of issues cause by frequent updates that introduce numerous
new console breaking bugs is just horrendous. I understand what I signed up for, I get it but I would really love to know what is going on. I've posted a similar problem here before and received no responses. I've even called support to no avail.

What is going on? Is this a software or hardware related issue? I'm pretty good with electronics but I can't even come to a conclusion.

As I was about to finish this post, the guide was working so I went to the settings tab to turn the console off. Mind you the system has been locked up for the entirety of this post, about ten minutes. Literally as I'm about to hit turn off, it miraculously
started working. Home page loaded up right away and YouTube started working.

What. The. Heck? Can anyone, ANYONE, shed some light on this please? I would love to purchase the one x but I cannot afford it right now so I would love if this 'ol girl could keep trucking on a little longer.

I have a 3 tb hard drive from gamestop. Day one xbox. Alpha tier in preview. I'm tried power cycling, factory restore (keeping apps and removing everything) but none of these are a permanent solution. It would seem that the culprit is the preview program
as I've had no apparent hard ware issues, not even with the power supply.

I would like to stay in alpha tier but if it is indeed the culprit I will unenroll. What should I do? Apologies for the lengthy post, I'm just frustrated and I wanted to provide as many details as possible. Thanks in advance.

Edit: After everything went back to normal, I clicked YouTube by accident but it loaded fine. Quit it out, waited a few minutes and tried loading Netflix. Nope, happened again. Took too long to start. I signed out (other tags on my xbox didn't load icons
properly) and now it's taking an eternity to log me back in. Ugh.

    :)

The only thing that I can suggest is a hard reset performed EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If that doesn't work then try another factory reset and if that doesn't work contact support for a repair. Contact Us | Xbox Support

Recently, I've been getting this message from my Xbox, last week, it was too damn slow I couldn't even open settings without getting this error.

After that, I've tried several times the hard reset thing but it only worked like 1 in 10 times then I did the factory reset which worked at first but now I'm getting the same error, tested with a minor game by deleting/installing again and I was able to
run it, but right now I can't even use Netflix without get the error.

    E208 0000045D 000000005 Error code problems

But now ever since this happened literally Microsoft explorer an app I use a lot for my MCBE Mods for not only freezes but makes everything lag and it just says normally took to long to start and now my Xbox is just plainly running slower, this is so stupid.

i just turned on my Xbox RN at 10:54 pm and it says FOR SOME REASON "XBOX DASHBOARD TOOK TO LONG TO START"

and then this error code (0x8027025A)

and it just lagged and spammed the same sound for me clicking y profile to sign in bruh

another error code when trying to download my 2nd profile, 0xd00000225

most apps are just opening into a black screen then i get the took to long to start

another error code i just got 2:48 am 0xd0000189

3:07 am: Things are not loading fast what so ever just got another error code 0x80040900

i looked it up and my profile might be corrupt? I dunno I think ima just try to remove and re-add my account from my Xbox, the booting Xbox screen is taking a good minute then to a black screen then it SLOWLY loads.

everything is "Taking too long to load" yep its constantly doing that where apparently everything is taking too long to start My "Settings took too long to load... etc..."

Twitch app took too long to start.

    Hello Dylan_933,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

It appears that you are experiencing delay in launching Twitch app when signing your account in your Xbox console. Let us check and see on what we can do to help get this fixed.

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

    1. When did the issue start?

    2. Has there been any changes with your console before this issue happened?

For the meantime, here are some troubleshooting steps that we can perform:

    1. Check the server status: Sometimes, server issues can cause delays when launching the Twitch app. You can check the server status by visiting the official Twitch Status page. If the servers are down, you may need to wait until they are back up and running.

    2. Update the app: Make sure that you have installed the latest updates for the Twitch app. You can check for updates by going to "My games and apps" > Highlight the app > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage app" > Select "Updates" .

    3. Clear the cache: Clearing the cache can help resolve issues caused by corrupted app files. To clear the cache, press and hold the power button on your Xbox console for 10 seconds to turn it off. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the console .

We look forward to your response. Kindly let us know, if there is any misunderstanding or clarifications of our description by sending us a reply.

    Sincerely,

Already did it a few times, sometimes the games works but only for a few days, then I start getting the same error again.

I'm from Brazil, will check if this service is available here, will try to test with a external drive first.

    Thanks.
