Constant Freezing After Attempting to Update Netflix

So I attempted to update my 360 Netflix app and it froze midway. This led to me having to reset it which then turned into freezing when logging into the profile. I searched online and deleted the cache, but when I attempt to delete corrupted downloads the
console freezes again. Due to this I have to skip signing in and tried to delete the downloads. Which leads to freezing again. So now I've formatted the HDD assuming that would fix the problem. Instead now I am unable to download my profile whatsoever.

So in summary what I've done so far:

1) Frozen download from Netflix

2) Unable to Sign in to Xbox Live leading to skipping sign in

3) Deleted cache

4) Reformatted HDD

5) Attempt to download profile leads to freezing of device AFTER reformat of HDD

6) Open another profile without the Netflix attempt to download (works fine)

7) Tried to download Netflix on other profile, freezes again

8) Deleted both profiles locally

9) Reformatted and deleted all data from xbox again

10) Unable to sign into either profile now after downloading due to freezing

I'm pretty much at a loss of what to do now. The profiles I've downloaded seem to be corrupted since they worked fine until I downloaded the Netflix app. I've completely wiped my HDD so I'm lost.

Anyone else having constant freezing after downloading this new update?

 

Constant freezing before sign-in

I got on this morning to constant freezing before the sign in screen. When I get past the sign in a system update becomes available and after completing another system update becomes available and It then crashes

When you cleared the cache, have you tried 3 times in a row then rebooting? Do you have another storage device or flash drive you can use for your profile instead of using your HDD? Have you tried

safely removing the HDD and seeing if the console still freezes? Do you have a friend with the same model console to see if hard drives can be swapped to see which case works or doesn't work?

I just trying to see if we can figure out if the HDD is going bad or something is going on with the console. Let us know about the above information. Thanks,

 

I followed your directions and deleted literally everything (including doing a cache wipe 3x) and was able to sign into my profile. I believe what was causing the hang up was as soon as I logged into my account it was trying to update the Netflix app, causing
it to freeze due to there being some residual corrupted data from the frozen screen previously. I'm not sure what's causing the random frozen screens but I'm happy its working properly so far.

Today is the third time this has happened to me in the past 2-3 months. Each time Netflix requires an update, the Xbox freezes. I have now spoken with 5-6 support people at Xbox. Everyone has a different opinion, and no one has been able to fix it. I have
spent more hours with support that I have watching Netflix. The Xbox 360 just has technical flaws that make it not work with Netflix. I am finally frustrated enough to realize that Xbox isn't worth the fee if the primary use is not gaming.
