Constant disonnects from xbox live

I Recently bought a much nicer Modem but only my xbox 360 gets disconnected & it does constantly, I Reset my modem, I Toyed with some of my router settings like port forwarding.

I Have no idea what to try now.

It is a Netgear C6300BD

Constant disonnects only when video streaming

I don't have the option of using an ethernet cable as my router is too far away. I am getting 4 bars of wireless signal to my xbox.

Again, it only happens when I am streaming video, not when playing games on xbox live.

I changed the channel on the router to 11, (instead of auto select) and it still happens.

I am not using a wireless headset.

Any other ideas?

 

We have been having the same issues for months now. We got a new modem and that didn't fix it. This always happens when we are watching netflix, it will sign us out of live, but if we try to sign back in, it either won't connect or takes a awhile to do it.
We have tried all the troubleshooting ideas from this website and it still won't work. Why even have live if you can't stay connected?

Sorry to hear about the disconnection issues!

Have you tried running a speed test yet? There are certain requirements a connection speed has to reach to truly utilize Xbox Live Services. I don't see any issues with the Xbox Live services on the status page. I'll provide you some links to test your speed
below just in case you haven't.

Report back with the speed you've received from your test so we can get to the bottom of your issue!

 

In most cases it's not a speed issue. Same thing happens to me whether I am on Wifi or hardwired. My speed is ~50 down and ~10 up. I have gone through multiple forums and the question has not been answered yet. The best part is, I'm on here because I just
got disconnected from XBL trying to find the answer. It has to be on Xbox end.And I just got disconnected again..great.
