Constant Disconnecting

Discus and support Constant Disconnecting in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have been trying to get this issue resolved for about a week now.     Constant Disconnecting


    I have been trying to get this issue resolved for about a week now. I've talk to the support staff on twitter and via online chat and nothing has fixed it. I am constantly disconnecting from my wifi network, even when its just a few feet from the router.
    When its directly wired in it is fine. I've tried everything. Cleared the system cache, restore default network settings, opened ports, changed wifi channels, downloaded my profile again, did a manual install of the last update, Probably a few more I have
    forgotten. When I do the network statistics it had .99 upload and .01 download speeds (not good, I know) with 82 ms latency and 100% signal strength. I did a speed test on my Windows phone and it was getting 40mbs download and 7mbs upload. I have the Xbox
    360 S Star Wars console, a Linksys WRT 1900 AC router, **** cable modem, Comcast internet. My other consoles are having no problem just this one. I don't want to send it in for repair and not get the Star Wars version of the console back. that's one thing
    that worries me. I think its the internal wifi of the system that is the problem. I don't know what else to do. Please help.

    Hey there, thanks for the post - I think I asked you to create one in another thread, so happy to see you did already! Thanks! Constant Disconnecting :)

    One thing I'm not seeing is if you've tried running your wired console directly into your modem, just for the purposes of testing, so that we can see if there is an issue with your router configuration. Would you be able to perform this test and let us know

    Add me to the long list of folks experiencing constant disconnects from XBL. For the last month Hulu and Netflix have been more or less unusable because when XBL disconnects you get punted to the gold membership signup screen. Anyhow, here's all the info
    that the mod's seem to ask for in the posts I've already read about this problem.

    We have to 360's in our house. One in the living room, hard-wired to the router and a second in our bedroom connected to our 2.4G wireless channel. Both of them experience connection drop so PLEASE don't go on about the quality of the wireless connection.

    To answer in advance: Yes, I've power cycled the cable modem.

    We have plenty of other connected devices (3 computers, a sonos streaming internet radio, other game systems) and none of them are experiencing connection issues. I'd be more than happy to run an app on my computer, or simply run a continual tracert/ping
    to a Microsoft server if you TRULY think this is a Comcast issue.

    Hey man, same thing is happening to me. Except I downloaded and installed the update fine. However, I keep disconnecting every 10 mins maybe, sometimes less, sometimes more. Ever since the update rolled out, it's been horrible keeping a constant connection.

    Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.

    Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Select Yes if you are prompted to update the console software.

    The last XBOX360 system update was February 19, 2013. If you have recently updated you may have another issue with your internet or conectivity.

    I have a similar problem. When I try to play with others in public matches the game session ends after character selection. It's so annoying and I can't find the solution to this problem. However I have played a few games with a friend in private match and
    it worked fine. You can add me and we can play private matches in the mean time until this problem can be solved.
