    Ok, so I am getting really *** off... Ever since the Xbox One big update, I have been getting kicked offline. Its extremely frustrating. I have googled this before and ended up putting my xbox one in a DMZ Host. Which from what I read, it sets up the
    connection outside of the firewall. At first it seemed to work but now im back to having trouble.. I read another post saying to answer these questions.

    What Country/State/Province do you live in?

    Oklahoma

    Modem brand & model number:

    Ubee / DDW365

    Router brand & model number:

    Same as previous question (Its a WiFi Modem)

    How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?:

    2 (Xbox One & Xbox 360) (360 isn't used)

    Wired or Wireless (for each console):

    Both are Wired

    Things you have tried:

    DMZ Host

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown:

    Yes

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?:

    No (Its Open)

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

    No, it just kicks me offline and reconnects me immediately, but the games still say that I am offline for a minute or 2.

    Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider):

    Cox Communications



    Not sure what else I can do. I cant figure how to do the "Open Ports" function in my modem.

    Constant Xbox Live Disconnecting

    Hi, I have now tried everything you guys have recommended and nothing works! It is so frustrating... every 5 minutes being disconnected from something I'm watching. You pay £30/40 a year for xbox live, then £10 a month for lovefilm, £8 a month for NowTV
    and I cant use either of them on Xbox for this reason. I can watch both completely fine on my Ipad. There are no issues with my internet connection what so ever. It is purely Xbox Live. Terrible. And if I hear that things are the same with the Xbox One then
    I shall be getting a Playstation 4 I'm afraid.

    Gateways have been hit the hardest by the update for some reason , You did say you have it in DMZ and the UPNP on , that could be confusing it as you usually don't do both , I would reset the gateway to factory defaults and enable UPNP only (its probably
    enabled by default) others have switched to wireless and had luck for whatever reason ...

  6. And the modem is a rental from my internet provider. I pay for 100 Mbps, and I have only been getting 50 Mbps. So they came out and replace the modem. (I had the N300 or the N600 WiFi Modem previously.) I just got off the phone with them and they are supposed
    to come out and take a look at the modem again Saturday at 1:00 - 3:00 PM (CST). But I would like to see if this is a Xbox Update issue. Just want to prepare and try and fix this issue.

  7. UPnP is set to ON by default. I read somewhere that a possible fix could be to put in a DMZ host. Seeing as I was having the same issue before DMZ host, and UPnP - ON.. Should I try UPnP - OFF??

    You could try , it should be off if your in DMZ, You say you had a N300 or N600 ? If those were Netgear they were far superior for xbox live than the UBEE , you still have it ?

  9. No I don't have it, it was a rental and the internet company had replaced it with the ubee modem.

    I put my Xbox One in a static IP but it seems that I have to redo it every time I shut the console off... I also tried the port forwarding (all Xbox ports, and also game specific ports for Rainbow Six Siege. The disconnecting is as frequent but i'm still
    getting it a lot... Internet company is coming to replace the modem (again) I told them that I didnt want another 4th party modem.. Which they went on to say that its a "top of the line WiFi Modem"

  10. If what they bring dosent work , id find out how much they are charging you to "rent" it , it would probably be cheaper to get your own ...

    Same issues here, it's been happening pretty much since the patch. I've been in touch with them a few times over it and so far I have had poor results. Tried all the basic stuff Modem resets, hard resets, uninstalling and reinstalling my account resetting
    the Xbox. I'm really out of ideas as to what to do next.

    Just out of interest what game are you playing when you get disconnected?

    I have a Ubee DVW3201B and I've been having the same issues. Intermittent connection loss on Xbox Live, nothing else. No issues prior to the NXOE updates either. I tried switching my Xbox over to wireless but that only succeeded in blowing up my latency
    and lowering DL and UL speeds dramatically. Not to mention, the WiFi on my modem is iffy at best, it is known to drop WiFi, so that's out of the question. Microsoft did release an update last night, around 350mb. Try installing the update if you haven't already.
    I haven't had any disconnections yet, but we'll see.

    Sorry about the extreme late reply. An update with whats going on. My ISP has replaced my modem AGAIN! I am now back to the Netgear N450 CVG3000Dv2. Currently I am still hardwired.

    My connections are

    Download - 109.62 Mbps

    Upload - 12.03 Mbps

    Packet Loss - 0%

    MTU - 1480

    Latency - 72 ms

    I am still getting disconnected from xbox live and being pulled out of games. It is not as frequent BUT its still enough to be extremely aggravating. Currently my Port Forwarding's are:

    Now I was reading on what else I could do:

    Firewall Enable/Disable

    Permanent/Static IP Address

    DHCP Enable/Disable (need to put xbox in a static IP address if disabled)

    My issue is that the manual says to go to something in the router but I cant find that option. I have clicked everything I possibly could but still no luck.

    Im planning on buying a modem or a wifi modem. Anyone know of a REALLY good one? Im not sure what else I can do. All I know is that this big update from xbox has really *** me over!!!

  14. Also. Through the xbox one in the advanced settings of the network under DNS, I have manually entered 8.8.8.8 for the primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary DNS. Not sure what this does but read on the forum to do this.
