    Hi, every time I dashboard to change a game I disconnect from Xbox live, or sometimes I turn on the Xbox and it disconnected already and I have to preform a 30 second reset to both router and modem.

    I tried deleting my profile, moving it to a compatible USB drive, clearing the console's cache 3 times, restoring network settings, deleting system update and the problem still occurs.

    My router and modem are on the compatibility list on the xbox.com website. I have SBG900 modem and a Belkin F9K1102 v1 router. They're all up-to-date.

    its a problem with the alternate dlc costumes, boon says it can be fixed by deleting your history and then redownloading the dlc, but suffice to say the problem still exists because the other person may not know how to fix it on their end. Basically nrs
    screwed up they need to put a patch out.

    Are you getting any error messages when you're disconnected? Are you able to reconnect right away? Have you tried restarting your network hardware?

    This type of NAT environment, with multiple layers of NAT, do not support UDP communication over NAT traversal.

    Therefore, can you confirm that your Motorola SBG900 is operating in bridge mode, as a standard modem.

    If the SBG900 was deployed by your ISP, reach out to your ISP and have them know about your situation and the possibility to configure the SBG900 to be operating in bridge mode. If this is not an option, ask them politely if they can deploy you with a standard
    modem, since you connect an additional router/NAT.

    The Belkin router I have has an option "Use as an Access Point." When I turned it on and set an IP and disabled the DHCP Server the router wouldn't connect and the internet stopped working. I had to factory reset the router and reconfigure it. I followed

    Do you still have a persisting issue with constant disconnection?

    When you configured your Belkin router as an access point, did you make sure to change the LAN IP of your secondary router (Belkin) from default so that it lies within the subnet of your primary router's LAN IP, but outside of the dynamically assigned range?
    This method is used when you connect from the LAN interface on your primary router to the LAN interface on your secondary router.

    Set a unique (E)SSID for your access point, but use the same wireless security/encryption method as for your primary router.

    I would also suggest that you use different non-overlapping channels for these two devices.

    Example, router 1 = Channel 1, router 2 = Channel 6

    Do you understand when I say, they have to be on the same subnet?

    Did you power cycle both devices afterwards?

    Question: Why do you need to have two wireless router's in the first place? To extend your wireless network?

    Hey man, same thing is happening to me. Except I downloaded and installed the update fine. However, I keep disconnecting every 10 mins maybe, sometimes less, sometimes more. Ever since the update rolled out, it's been horrible keeping a constant connection.

    Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.

    Select Network Settings.

    Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.

    Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Select Yes if you are prompted to update the console software.

    The last XBOX360 system update was February 19, 2013. If you have recently updated you may have another issue with your internet or conectivity.

    I have a similar problem. When I try to play with others in public matches the game session ends after character selection. It's so annoying and I can't find the solution to this problem. However I have played a few games with a friend in private match and
    it worked fine. You can add me and we can play private matches in the mean time until this problem can be solved.
