    Constant disconnect and reconnect


    So I have been having this problem for some time now and what it is that my xbox when I turn it on or while im playing a game the controller will disconnect and flash but it will also disconnect my Xbox from Xbox live only for a split second and then reconnect
    back to XBL and it happens at random everyday what ever I'm doing whether is be Netflix, skype, gaming or even just nothing in th dashboard it will happen and it is aggravating which is an understatement as I have the problem back in January and i had my Xbox
    shipped for repair and then after the problem was gone until June when it started slowly and then to now where it constant happens everyday I can hardly use my Xbox much and even if I personally disconnect my from the wifi it will still happen. Also my nat
    type is open with a generally good connection and I don't have another trouble with the other thing I my room just as my computer, laptop, iphone, Xbox360 and sorry "PS4" doesn't get this problem only the Xbox one. Plus I have tried mulitple troubleshooting
    but no luck then only thing left for me to try is a factory reset and I don't really want to do that but only as a last resort.

    Any help or recommendations would be great thanks.

    Anyone Else having my problems ? (NXOE)

    Have you disconnect from your internet and reconnected? Usually when I was having issues that was the fix, or hard resets.

    Xbox one controller problems (like everyone else it seems)

    my Xbox one controller is litterally driving me insane. Constant disconecting sometimes for hours before it'll reconnect (currently happening now I'm an hour in!) and when it does it disconnects me from my wifi. There is no answer in the trouble shooting
    section and I really don't know what to do my controller is barely a month old

    anybody with any solutions ?

    Internet disconnecting every 15 min

    I'm currently using a wired connection, still disconnects for 20 sec and then reconnects... Is a constant thing and the weird part is that happens every 15 min or so, is not at random times.

    The following ports need to be forwarded for Xbox Live services:

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP och TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Go to Firewall settings and make sure the option, DoS Attack Protection is unticked (disabled).

    Don't forget to save your configuration and reboot the gateway afterwards

    Factory resetting doesn't fix a thing. Also DO NOT remove your user if support asks you to do so, you'll spend the next hour or so playing red-light, green-light with your Xbox trying to put in your information while it periodically connects and disconnects.

    It's a do all router (found this info after I made the previous comment) but my house has multiple extending routers to boost the Wifi Signal.
