Constant clicking/popping sound for any app

Ever since I bought my Xbox One Stereo Headset, I keep earring "clicking/popping" sounds. It usually starts doing it 10 minutes after the console has booted up. I found out disconnecting the stereo cable and connecting it back (once the orange light on the
audio adapter has closed), it makes the sounds stop for a while.. and come back after 5-10 minutes. I have the latest headset patch and have tried hard reset multiple times now.

It really breaks any ambiance and experience.

So I just updated my controller hoping that it would fix the occasional popping noises I was experiencing, and now I have constant popping noises whenever there is any sound. Super annoying. Update made it far worse for me. I have tried doing a hard reset
and unplugging the power but the popping persists.

Wish I read this before updating.

 

Popping noise when streaming to Windows 10

I'm trying to set up streaming to my Windows 10 Laptop, I've set everything up successfully and it streams no problem. Except for a loud popping noise over the top of any sound streaming from the Xbox. I tried to look for a solution to this problem, and
it seems many people have had issues with a popping sound every now and then while playing on a TV, but it seemed there was nothing quite as constant as what was happening on my system. I attempted a few fixes, in system and sound setting, I also tried turning
off the kinect and unplugging it altogether, but these fixes did nothing.

It's only when streaming that this popping noise happens, if I play through the TV, it works perfectly, likewise, the computer doesn't have any audio issues with anything except when streaming from the xbox.

 

I would like to add that I was told my voice was really low when using the microphone (Party App, Destiny in-game chat and when I stream on Twitch.

I'm really frustrated with this...

 

I've been having this exact same issue. The last I could find any details on it was due to a known issue with the headset adapter, but that was back in March.
