constant and persistent destiny server drops

Every 5-10 minutes since the "patch"...once or twice a night before...bees, canaries, centipedes, lions, fly, beaver, beetle....annoying

 

Ever since the hotfix I get randomly dropped from everything. I get dropped from strikes, patrols, missions and just about everywhere in between. It's getting old.

 

Just bought the game today. Played for an hour or two and then some cattle nonsense has kicked in. Woo hoo, next generation. I have 150 mbps broadband connect via Ethernet. Is the 360 version working as right now, I am thinking of moving back to the Siddy
until a real next gen console is released.

This generation is a total failure.

 

Its Destiny or their servers. Bungy forums full of people getting booted off. All sorts of suggestions made to fix it i.e open ports, static ip, turn off, turn on, whatever) The thing is all the other server games on Xbox work fine, This problem also effecting
PS 4 users. Bungie are pretty much ignoring peoples concerns.

 

i haven't been getting any errors as of lately i did before like all the time....like every time i played.

 

As horrible as it sounds i'm glad i'm not alone in getting this. Like some of you guys I've had Destiny from launch (started playing at 00:01 on launch day) and have racked up hours of play, however since last weekend I can't play for more than 20 minutes
without getting a disconnect or kicked back to orbit. Very frustrating, made even more so by the fact it's an online only game FFS.

My internet connection is rock solid/hasn't changed. My Xbox one is cable connected to my broadband router and i'm on BT infinity 80mb down 20mb up. Definately a problem with the servers and interesting that it coincides with the patch i didn't realise
that until now.

Have played 3 hours without being kicked off the server.

Here's what I changed.

Switched my port forwarding off

And I think most importantly turned off IPv6

I kept static ip for Xbox and obviously UPnP is on

I then shut down Xbox One, rebooted Modem and restarted Xbox One.

There was also a small update about 1.8mb for Destiny game but do not think would have made the difference

Let me know if it helps you. I will confirm fix in a couple of days.

I got the message when I signed in that they are reseting the game world or something and we might be experiencing some issues. But typically now I'm trying to get that message back up I can't seem to make it appear again :/

 

Ever since I bought this game I've regretted it. Sick of it crashing, getting booted mid-game. Like you, I have a stable connection hard wired. I'm still not sure if it's solely a Destiny issue or xbone issue or both, as my brother says Titanfall crashes
all the time too.

 

Such a shame to see so many people experiencing these issues. I have been riddled with the centipede code since I purchased this game. Ive opened all ports that were suggested and have still had no good results. With Forza and Shadow of Mordor I feel
as though this game is going to get pushed to the side due to this issue of always getting kicked out.

It isn't anyone's network settings and it isn't Bungie's fault... from what I've heard.
