constant and persistent destiny server drops

Anyone else having problems with the desting servers tonight? every 5 or 10 minutes server drops out and game disconnects me!

Am hard wired to a cable connection and my connection remains stable according to the xbox.

Wishing i never bought the game at the moment. very very unimpressed!

Or maybe disappointed as it does look like an amazing game

No. Its either 60 with drops or 30 constant.

Haven't had single drop or any lag yet.

 

All the time yes, search on the Destiny forums. Tons of people are having the same problem. Some people can't even play the game because of it.

 

I had trouble but my Internet isn't the best AND I was playing with people from across the country. I live in Oregon and I was playing with friends who live in Michigan.

 

It has happened to me frustrating when you've completed your mission and waiting for the timer and you get kicked gotta go back and do it again

i'm on a virgin media wireless connection 150MG i can play Destiny for 5-10 mins at a time then get disconnected with a network error code of canary saying that it is a connection issue. I don't have any problems playing anything else and all ports are
open and forwarded. i cant have a wired connection because of how far the router is. is there anything else that i can do to?

I'm very unimpressed by this as its the 1 game i've actually been waiting for this year

 

Dude I'm in the same boat. I've tried everything and still no joy. Worst thing is I didn't have a single problem till Saturday night. Before that I played for hours and hours no problem. But Bungie still say its nowt to do with them.

 

same here with a group of two friends in my fireteam, we all have different ISP's and have excellent connections (minimum we have is 35 down and 5 upload speed). happened last night to all 3 of us at separate times.

 

I am having the same problem. Constantly getting kicked out in the middle of a game. Always get different error codes. Has anyone figured this out yet?!

 

Like mentioned above, if you check on www.bungie.net loads reporting issues.

Up until a few days back I didn't have a single issue but the last few days I've had a few drops. A friend of mine can't even get to The Tower, he asked Bungie Support, they have told him to check his own broadband, funny thing is though he has no trouble
signing into Xbox LIVE, no trouble playing other online games, Forza 5, BF4, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse co-op.

Hopefully they sort it soon.

 

I found a fix for me on the Bungie forums. If you get a Canary error and are using a Superhub 2 from Virgin. I can't remeber the guys name. But you need to dial into your modem and change the wifi settings to 54Mbps on whatever frequency you're using. Either
5G or 2G. It worked last night after a week of bad connections.

 

I am having exactly the same issues as you, every 5 - 10 mins though it is driving me nuts, please someone help. I have been on to Netgear, my ISP and there are no issues there. I have setup the QoS settings, opened the correct ports, I just can't seem to
get this sorted
