Console won't start up

Discus and support Console won't start up in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I have the Xbox One S and have had it for about 2 years now.     Console won't start up


    I have the Xbox One S and have had it for about 2 years now. I was playing a game earlier and turned it off when I was finished, but now it won't start up. I have an small ethernet adapter plugged into it and that seems to be receiving power from the Xbox
    (it is showing the red light that indicates power on), but the Xbox itself won't turn on. I'm not sure if it matters but I did install the latest update this morning, maybe that could be causing it?

    clear your cache.

    You can do this by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    Retry afterwards.

    I have the same problem! Since the second to last Insider update my Xbox won't turn on after an update attempt during the night. Power brick is bright orange, while the Xbox is in instant on power mode. When I press the xbox logo it tries to play the start
    up tune but it doesn't and nothing happens. Only way to get it to boot is to unplug the power brick, let it rest for a while, unplug all USB devices and plug the power brick back in. After booting up, manually start the update again, and when it's finished
    plug all USB devices back in. And after that I have no problem booting anymore untill the next update attempt during the night.

    Try select Game square and then press "Menu" button (3 lines) and select "Quit" and if it didnt work, you can also go to "Settings" Tab and select "Restart" you console will restart and then try again starting the game

    1. Try powering on the console with the hard drive removed.
    2. Try a different mains socket in your home to power the console.
    3. Try a different TV or AV/HDMI cable.
