    Console won't start. Power brick light is neither orange or white.


    I went to reboot my Xbox my holding the power button down, and when I touched the button, I was shocked by static electricity (my house has a lot of it this time of year). The Xbox made the normal shutting down sound, but wouldn't turn back on. The power
    brick light is not orange or white.

    Looking into troubleshooting, it says not to plug your power supply into a surge protector. Mine was plugged into a power strip, not a surge protector, so I'm not sure if that has any effect.

    Anyway, my TV, stereo, phone charger, etc. all work on the two outlets I've tried, but my Xbox and the power supply don't turn on or show any lights.

    I'm hoping the power supply has just gone bad, but how big of a change is there that my console is fried? I'm concerned because I first made contact with it, not the power supply

    Xbox One won't turn on ?

    My Xbox One which I Imported from the US, won't turn on, when I press the power button it makes a slight sound then nothing happens, no light neither, it's my first time trying to turn it on it has never worked before, the power brick is also changing
    back and forth from orange to white, is it supposed to do that ?

    When the power cord isn't connected to the xbox the power brick only has a orange light, but when I put it in the Xbox it starts flashing back and forth from orange to white...

    Btw I live in Norway, and I'm using a power adapter on it, same one I usually use for my US blu-ray player, which works perfectly..

    x box one won't turn on... power brick light is orange and then white ... I'm the console turns on and then shuts dos I have already tried multiple outlets and have unplugged all the wires ??

    It is not recommended to use a power strip.

    Can you unplug your power brick from the mains supply and the console for at least 3 minutes.

    Plug back in and power back up.

    I left it unplugged from the wall and from my Xbox overnight. Tried it this morning and same result.

    Power brick won't turn off

    Hi

    The power brick for the Xbox One console never fully turns off if your console is set to instant on mode the light on the power brick will remain white with the console switched off and if the console is set to power save mode the light will be orange/yellow
    when the console is switched off.

    Got a new power brick today now my console works,if your power brick stays orange and white light comes on for 2-3 seconds and goes of then you have a faulty power brick you need to get it exchanged.

    This is 100% correct, I have my console on power saving and the brick light is orange, on the other setting it's white.
