Console won't power on, blinking orange light on power brick

Recently bought a Xbox One, and it had what seemed like a noisy fan. Just on the menus it was quiet, but when I started a game, while the game was loading it got a big noisy, and once the game was loaded the noise took a step up again. I brought it to
a local repair shop to get a quote for repair (it's out of warranty) and they call me next working day to say it wouldn't power on at all. They claim they didn't do anything, and the sticker seems intact so the box was probably never opened. But it was working
fine apart from the noise before I brought it into them. I didn't leave my power brick with them, they said they had their own.

Anyway, brought it home, and plugged it in. The power brick has a blinking orange light, and the console doesn't power on. No lights on the console.

I looked at the Xbox One won't power on troubleshooting, reset the power supply (unplugged at the wall, console and brick, left for a few mins) but no difference, still blinking orange light. Tried different power socket which I know is working fine. Don't
have any friends with Xbox One to test with theirs.

The troubleshooting guide suggests to replace the power supply, but given the repair shop had problems turning it on with their own power supply too, can the orange blinking light indicate a console issue?

New March update?

Seriously, just turned my console off to notice the light start blinking then turn off. Looked at the power brick and it was orange, turned my console back on to be greeted with a green update bar

XBox 360 Slim randomly turning off for no apparent reason

Just to confirm, when the console is off your power brick has an orange light and when on it displays a green light, also the console does not show any red lights on it, it simply switches off reverting the power brick to the orange light?

I Wouldn't say anything is wrong with the console but i would think you where given a faulty power supply your consoles warranty should cover it if it was newly purchased.

I tried another power outlet and still it did not work. my power brick lights orange when its of and lights white when i turn the council on, the light is steady and does not blink.

What does it mean when your touch power button has a blinking red light on start up? But never starts... xbox 360 will not power on and i feel i tries everything. All the cords are secure, i pulled out the hardware made sure it was dust free. The power brick
is solid orange light that goes green when you try to start the console but goes back orange cause the console turns off after 10 blinking red lights and never powers up at all. What should I do????

You could try, but I don't believe it's the power brick that's the issue. When the console is turned on, the power brick should be green. When the console is turned off the power brick should display an orange color. If it was flashing orange, red, or no
light then there would be a problem.
