console wont let me play download version of fifa anymore

hey guys,

i hope somebody can help me out with this.

i bought a used xbox one a few months ago with the download version of fifa 16 already installed on it.. when i got the console i locked in into my account ( which is not the one that the game has been downloaded with) and i was able to play the game..
even without being locked in into my account it worked as well

now out of nowhere im no longer able to start the game... when i hit start an icon bumps up telling me to either purchase the game in the store or put the cd in.

if anybody out there knows what might be tthe issue id be very thankful for your help.

I can't download updates it just gives me a status code:

3F4B - 0000 - D080 - 0200 - 8007 - 274C

I am trying to play FIFA 13 and it wont let me because I cleared my cache in attempt to fix this problem but it just made it worse because now I can't download updates to play the game.

Is there some solution?

I haven't been able to download this or me3. I easily purchased skate 3 today and it downloaded.

 

Probably because that user's profile was set as the home xbox so you could play the game and that previous user may have got another console and made it his home console thus eliminating your ability to play the game.

 

i see.. thank you.. and is there any way that i can get it back to run without having him make my console his home console again? because that will hardly be possible as i bought it off ebay and dont know that guy

 

No, if you want to play the game then you will need to purchase it.

 

and if i could get him to log in into my xbox again, will i loose the ability to play the game every time he logs in into a different console or can he somehow make my console his home console and just log in with his account as "log in with account on guest

He would have to make your console his home console and I doubt he would be willing to do that. Why don't you just purchase the game and play it without all the confusion.
