Console won’t display notifications or capture gameplay

My Xbox one will not display certain notifications, despite the setting being turned on. I can’t really understand why all of a sudden it’s started to do this.

For example: game downloads “Ready” or “Ready to start” for some reason won’t display but will pop up in my notification history. Achievements will do the same thing, I get them and they show up but no notification despite it being on.

As well, my captures are not saving. Ironically I get the notification for game captures but they will not save. Again, even with them turned on and the automatic upload setting on (or off).

It didn’t start doing this until an update I had on 3/8. It’s an original fat model if that matters.

My FOR HONOR game clips aren't showing up.

when I make a capture of gameplay footage, I can watch it as a notification, but once the notification is dismissed the game clip isn't available to view in any of the other viewing platform. Anybody had this issue or know what to do? Plz help

Using a PC to record XBOX 360 Gameplay?

Hey guys,
So I was wondering if i could connect my xbox 360 to my Alienware M17x (Which does have an HDMI input) using and HDMI cable and use a program like Cyberlink Power Director 10's ability to "Capture from a Device" to record gameplay on my console in
HD. I am 100% sure it is a HDMI INPUT and not an OUTPUT, but when i plug in the HDMI from my xbox, the screen automatically displays my xbox. How can I change the settings so that when i plug it in, the display doesn't change so I can use Power Director's
"capture from device" feature to capture footage from my xbox? And even if I fix this, would simply using Power Director to capture be enough or would i need an external capturing device such as an HDPVR?

If all of your notifications are enabled under Settings>Preferences>Notifications>Xbox Live Notifications, try

removing your profile, then
power cycle the console, and sign back in after that. Do you notice any improvement?

Yes the USB drive is brand new and works on the computer. Tried all prior fixes listed above and nothing. Files work on the drive. Trying to capture gameplay on Xbox series x. Won’t recognize as an option to change the location of capture and share to the jump drive.

o set up your Xbox for streaming on two monitors using an Elgato capture card and an HDMI splitter, you can follow these steps:

Connect Xbox to Elgato Capture Card:

If you are using a capture device and capture the gameplay on a PC, make sure that you have set the chat output to external speakers as well in the audio settings.

Or are you using the Twitch app on your console?
