Console will not connect to anything

Yesterday out of the blue while playing a game my controller disconnected and then a few seconds later I was booted out of Xbox Live. Now my controller keeps flashing and the home screen says to connect to Xbox Live.

How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

Xbox one will not restart after finishing initial update.

Same problem here. Console turns on after update but just sits there not booting or sending any video to the TV or anything. Controller also will not connect.

Let's go through some steps and see what we can find.

First, do you have any other network connected devices, such as Computer, Mobile, Tablet or other consoles? Do they have any network problems, specially around the times you get disconnected on Xbox Live?

Is your Xbox controller updated to the latest update?

If you have had your Xbox on Instant On for some time, it might need a cold reboot.

You can do this by holding the Xbox logo button , on the console itself, pressed for about 5 seconds until it powers down (assuming it was on in the first place).

You will notice that in a few seconds after this the light on the power adapter will change from white to red. Give it a couple of seconds then start the Xbox again. If you are used to Instant On power mode, you will notice it takes a little longer for it
to boot than usual. This is normal.

You might also want to check your NAT settings, which is found under Settings -> Network.

It should say that NAT is OPEN, if it is anything other than that, your router needs to open some ports to insure that network connectivity is not hindered.

To see if there is anything else going on with the console have you tried connecting via a wired connection.

Do these consoles have anything connected to them besides the power cord and the HDMI cable? Or something that could cause strong interference?

No, controllers connect to the console with Wireless and not RF.

Anything related to connection is to do with the console you have to address it with sony

Like I said before, there are no other profiles on the console. No other Gold, no Silvers, no Console only profiles.

I have tried deleting my profile and recovering it, then redoing the sign in settings, but it doesn't change anything. Every time I turn off the console then turn it back on, it signs in as , but does not connect to live. If I click the icon
on the dashboard to connect, it works just fine with no need to "Test Live Connection" or anything like that.
