    Console was banned, but what about my Account?


    Mods: If this thread is improperly placed, please move it to it's proper category.

    Today, my Xbox One X was banned, however, I'm unsure if I can still use my Account. I can use the Xbox App on Windows 10 to connect Xbox Live Parties. The Enforcement Website does not clarify what is actually banned.

    And I feel coming here, I'm just making myself a target anyway.

    I've tried to apply for a case review, but failed the questionnaire. Need to wait 24 hours to apply again.

    Any clarification would be appreciated.

    Xbox Live account banned, but what about console?

    Hi, if it was just the account that got suspended you're good to go ahead and sell the Xbox if you wish to, I don't believe the warranty is transferable though,

    I don't really know why, but my Xbox Live account was banned because of Marketplace theft. Xbox Live account is banned, but what about console? Statement from Microsoft:

    Enforcement actions apply to both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles:

    • On the Xbox 360 console you will no longer be able to sign in to Xbox Live.
    • On the Xbox One console you will be able to sign in, but some features and functionality of the console will be reduced or restricted including but not limited to the ability to participate in multiplayer games.
    It means 1 month old Xbox One is now like brick without all functionality, or everything okay and I can sold Xbox One with warranty to someone else?

    Console bans will not show up on the enforcement teams website.

    If you sign into your account at enforcement.xbox.com and does not show any current enforcement actions or that your account has a permanent suspension then your account is fine.

    That doesn't answer my question. I can still use my Account on the Xbox App. So that should mean my Account is not banned?

    If your account was banned, you would have received a message about the suspension/it would have showed on the enforcement page.

    Most of the time, a console ban is a separate enforcement action from an account ban.

    Ok. But, I'm still able to use my Account on the Xbox for Windows 10 App, the Mobile App, etc.

    That doesn't answer my question. I can still use my Account on the Xbox App. So that should mean my Account is not banned?

    How about your console get ban because hacker, theres a lot people with this problem what should we do?

    My xbox account and console get perm banned at one day, Im pretty sure its by hackers. My account is new with 0 strikes and i never do anything on my xbox comsole except just playing games
