    My son went to play his game when he went to log in it told him the console was band but gave no reason. I called Xbox live and they were un able to find out why I don't know if this is a glitch. Me and my son are the only ones that play the system and we
    have not violated any of the terms and agreements. I don't know what to do this is the second time this has happened. I don't think its right that i have to continue to buy a new console every time this happens please respond so i can know what i can do to
    resolve the issue.

    Well, I did as you suggested, and it didn't work. Not only that, but it only connected on the 2.4GHz band, and wouldn't even recognize the 5GHz band. The whole reason I have the console wired to the router is to avoid speed and connection issues from a
    b or g band being too slow.
