Console upgrade promo code for msft store, wasted 1 hour with a disgusting pig chat agent

The promo code in my rewards page simply doesn't work.

The support agent told me it was invalid as did the page I entered it on after adding the console to my cart.

I proceeded to open chat support with a really rude disgusting pig of a person who kept copy and pasting that I needed to have an order number linked to my promo code or she wouldn't help me.

I proceeded to tell her I got the promo code from the rewards site, and linked her to it.

She proceeded to tell me with no order number she wouldn't help me, and that I should talk to xbox support.

Eventually after an hour of back and forth she hung up on me. I didn't even get to rate how disgustingly bad she was. But anyway.

After That I went to xbox support, who also couldn't help me as they said it was an issue dealt with through here.

So Here I am.

To be honest i think I'll keep my money at this point but the issue remains people should never have to go through the psychological torture of microsoft store support. This is not the first time I've had to deal with them they are always rude and horrible.

Two Support Agents in chat gave me different dates as to when I could expect the code or email, to no avail.

The third chat support agent directed me your way.

 

for the 50,000 points upgrade (from 1 to 1s) promo, how will it know I am upgrading?

Xbox Live Rewards.

It says, order 1s from MS store, sign-in to console, and get 50000 points. Question is, how will it know I already have a 1 console and upgrading from it?

I signin from 1 and 360 currently. Need to know clearly if I will get 360-to-1 promo of 30,000 points, or 1-to-1s promo of 50000

 

The promo code is only to offset the price of expedited shipping and is not required to earn the credits. Not all of the console are eligible for expedited shipping which could be the reason the code won't work.
