Console updating error

Hi, I've a problem with my xbox 360, my brother used a damaged disk of FIFA World Cup 2014 for update the xbox dashboard, after restart the console returned this error:

3CD6-4099-2800-0F00-C000-0034

I tried to install the lastest version of dash (16756) with USB and CD, but it not worked, I tried to remove the HardDrive too, what's the problem? I'm installing the wrong version of dash? My console doesn't have a internet access, then I can install only
by usb.

So am i right in guessing you are having a problem with updating your console? Are you getting any error codes or messages?

 

Hi code XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-C000-0034 mean's that your xbox is banned from xbox live for tampering with your xbox console. you can go here:
http://enforcement.xbox.com and sign in and use the serial number of the xbox to see more info

(on the USB part I dont know if it can be updated with a usb flashdrive--also the X's are saying the numbers depend on what region or state or time it happened on )

 

Hey, Andrea! I'm unsure where Ritzy got their information, because I cannot find that's what the error code means. The closest I found was the
Error Code C000-0034 page. You can contact support if you'd like for this.

You may want to try to remove the old update before trying to install the one from the USB drive. You will want to go to Settings > Storage and do the following button sequence to remove the old update:

• LB RB X LB RB X

This will remove the old update and give you the ability to install the new update.

my bad I was two numbers off (36 is the banned console) here if that did not work:

Reset XBOX 360 Failed System Updates

With the console off, press and hold the sync up button.

While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console

Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.

During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

Thanks for the reply, Andrea! What kind of console do you have? It should be a 360, 360 Elite, 360S, or 360E. Additionally, is it the 4GB console that you have?
