    With the power of the Xbox 1X you would think console updates would be faster. Still takes about 30 minutes, to apply it and verify it. Not really to download, just verify and apply.

    Xbox One Installing Game Updates

    Yup - as beasty says, it downloads the data if in stand by but won't install it until you power the console up and launch the game. It did that for the BF4 update for me as well as the console update earlier in the week

    it gives me a error status report with w, x , y , z, ID, L, Q, T, A, G, D, N, S, C

    Err... if applying the update by USB Flash Drive as per the Local Install instructions at
    http://xbox.com/update the USB Flash Drive should NOT be prepared as an Xbox Memory Unit!
