Console Update Error

Thanks for the reply, Andrea! What kind of console do you have? It should be a 360, 360 Elite, 360S, or 360E. Additionally, is it the 4GB console that you have?

Hi, I can't access on system menu and the sync button method doesn't work, other ideas?

my bad I was two numbers off (36 is the banned console) here if that did not work:

Reset XBOX 360 Failed System Updates

With the console off, press and hold the sync up button.

While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console

Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.

During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

Hey, Andrea! I'm unsure where Ritzy got their information, because I cannot find that's what the error code means. The closest I found was the
Error Code C000-0034 page. You can contact support if you'd like for this.

You may want to try to remove the old update before trying to install the one from the USB drive. You will want to go to Settings > Storage and do the following button sequence to remove the old update:

• LB RB X LB RB X

This will remove the old update and give you the ability to install the new update.
