    So my Xbox one S was working absolutely fine and normal till Saturday evening while I was playing offline.

    Then I Installed a new game on the console. Console asked for a system update, post which I downloaded a big update of around 3.8 GB. After downloading, post verifying the update during applying the update the console suddenly went off and didn't turn on,
    on it's own like how normally it should restart.

    Post that I tried all possible troubleshooting measures. And on advice of another Xbox expert here, I waited for almost one day, powered it on and surprisingly it did turn on. After a while it again asked for system update. I again went through the whole
    procedure. This time luckily though the installation resumed with same old downloaded file. But after verifying update, again it went off. The same thing repeated last night also. Is it some update bug that's causing it to randomly shut off like this?

    Were you able to read the version of the update that fails the installation? And which version works? With this information I could be of help in looking for one possible cause and solution.

    No. Sorry. The update was huge. It was nearly 3.8 GB and was not able to check it's version. The moment it got downloaded and verified, console went off.

    have you tried offline updating?
    Not yet. I'm suggested by many to do the same. That's the final option left.
