console turns off after 1 second

So my one console turns off after 1 second. All good last night came down this morning and wont turn on.

I have tried all the obvious stuff on the forums like check plugs, brick, changed the brick with next door plugged direct into wall socket but still it wont start.

Ideas please?

Xbox one x shuts off unexpectedly

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem from day 1. I turn the console on, and after a few seconds it would turn off itself. Very annoying.

Xbox turns off after 1 or 2 seconds.

Also and most likely going to fix the issue for the most of you, the new consoles can NOT use surge protectors, power strips or extension cords, The console must be connected straight to a wall socket, Don't worry it has built in surge protection.

Sounds like a faulty console that should be repaired. Could be the power brick as well.

To add to what Traktor Jens T said, if you tested with a known good power supply and it doesn't power on at all, you will need to send it in for repair. Follow this link to request that repair.

Try a reboot on the console

1. Press and hold for 30 seconds the xbox button on the console it should turn off auto

2. Wait after shuts down to turn it on after a few second with the controller button

It should the issue.

try to reboot the console, turn off the xbox by holding the xbox button for 60 second it will turn off automatically then after 1 minute turn it on by using the controller, and load the game again.
