    Console turning on Issues


    Small summary:

    Xbox will turn on, but I have no video

    Controller will not connect to the xbox

    When I try to turn the xbox into standby, it makes the regular noise of powering down, but the logo continues to be lit up as if it is still on.

    I have tried to unplug and leave unplugged for some time in an effort to remove all power, but upon replugging and rebooting, I get the same issue.

    Tried to google and self diagnose and troubleshoot the issue, but I cannot see anything similar anywhere. Also tried the live chat, but couldn't really get a diagnosis.

    If anyone has any possible solutions or diagnosis short of sending to repair i'd love to hear, as this seems to be a very uncommon issue.

    Console Not Turning On

    I know what is wrong with it I already talked to microsoft and I have GTA V still in the console I was wondering what I should do about that before I send it out for repairs.

    Console not turning on

    My xbox one is not turning on and displaying to the TV. I can try and turn it on and the lights on the console and the power box turn white, but nothing comes on the TV. I've tried different HDMI ports and cables. HDMI works with other devices. I tried the
    manual power down and reset. I tried to hold the power button and the eject for 10 seconds, but I never get the first beep after 10 seconds. Disconnected everything from the back. When it first started, I was able to get the xbox up and running once and it
    froze shortly after starting. Haven't been able to get it going since, after numerous tries.

    Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having with your Xbox One! To start out, do you have your Xbox One set to Instant On or Power Save? If you have Instant On enabled, trying switching to Power Save to see if there's any change.

    For steps to change your power preference check out this steps on how to change Power Settings. Keep us looped in with how it goes or if you have any other Xbox support

    Heya,sorry to hear your having issues,mine and many others I have spoken to has been runing 12 to 20 hours straight and the shiney part and sides are cool to touch,and the grated side is barely warm,I would phone ms support asap or return it for a replacement,sounds
    like your fan isnt working,which has probably been caused in transit of the console and it has been unesseceraly banged about.hope you get it fixec asap.

    Hello, SHAJUDDIN S. I'm sorry to hear that despite following the recommendation from Microsoft, the issue persists.

    Unfortunately, if none of those methods worked, this means your console needs to be repaired. This information is available in the same article as well.

    Hey there Ashford! Is your controller wireless? If so, your controller may not be synced properly with the console anymore. Try turning the console on with the physical button, then try syncing your controller by pressing the sync button on the console and
    controller. Once they sync up again, turn your console off and try turning it on with the controller. Let me know the result of this, thanks!
