I have been a Xbox player for a long time. I was recently annoyed with the many bills i had to pay even when i tried to disable Xbox live when i had not a job i was still getting billed but i already have that fixed now that not my issue. My issue is that
i have spent many many many of my hard working dollars in buying games from Xbox now that i have moved to PC and its a windows PC i would think it would be reasonable that i could play my console games on my windows PC. I am unable to and its disgusting that
Microsoft does this, I already paid for these games let me play them. Why cant i have compatibility with my windows 10 pc to play something like doom or any of the Cod games I own.

    :)

    Hi,

The fact that you have to buy games again for your PC that you previously bought for Xbox, has nothing to do with Microsoft. Unlike on console, there is no licensing agreement between Microsoft and publishers for PC games running on Windows. Anyone can
develop and publish for PC, be it games or applications - Microsoft has absolutely no say in PC software and receive no money for them, unless the software is published by them. It's always been this way.

There are a few digital games that are 'Play Anywhere' titles. You buy the digital version on either the Windows Store or the Xbox Store and get the same game on the other platform for free. However, publishers have to agree to this and become part of
the program. And like I said before, since anyone can develop and publish on Windows, Microsoft can't force publishers to join the program, it's up to them.

Off course dear friend. Once bought, games are forever connected to your account. Don't forget to make a new console your home console. So, that anyone else on that console can share your gold, ultimate, pass or games. Be careful with buying to buy games
for Xbox, because only a few titles are play anywhere. Those games you can buy and play on Xbox or pc. Buy them for Xbox, get your console and then download them and play. Wish you a great time.

    PC and Console?

I do. Though I do regret purchasing it twice. The game is not all that fun without any friends to back you up.

So long as you purchase the title digitally through Xbox.com or its a "play anywhere" title (meaning its playable on PC and Xbox once bought) and the account you buy it on is the account you will be playing on, on the console then yes. If you buy it online
beforehand all you would need to do is sign into your console, set that Xbox as the Home Xbox for your account, and check the "ready to install" menu in your games and apps. All purchased titles is compatible on the Xbox One will be there.
